Increased workloads, non conducive environment, time pressures and demand for quality
of nursing care with a reasonable budget are common issues for nurses globally. For some extend they give negative influence on patient safety. The concept of patient safety is not a new topic; it is one of the fundamental principles in nursing care that focus on the safety of patient and other health care workers. As professional health workers, nurses need to assure safe care delivery for patients as well as health care workers and its environment. It is not only about knowing or understanding the issue, moreover it is related to the commitment of bringing patient safety in improving quality of nursing care. This International Nursing Conference challenges every nurse to explore and develop knowledge, skills, experience and commitment regarding patient safety for all health care services leading to create the patient safety culture among nurses.
